How we think

As GRIPP, we have defined our purpose as an organisation to be “to improve the governance, risk, and internal control environment of our clients” that we serve. Our vision is to see improved shareholder value and stakeholder confidence through the improvement of governance, risk, and internal control practices that are embedded at  our client organisations. This vision drives our strategy to deliver extraordinary quality services that exceed our clients’ expectations whilst remaining price sensitive.

Our culture is that of encouraging continual learning and being creative enough to seek out new ways of doing things, to improve efficiency and the effectiveness in what we do.

We achieve this by embracing feedback from all our stakeholders and promoting the lessons learnt.

How we give back

GRIPP is committed to giving back to communities within the broader South African context. We seek to achieve this in three meaningful ways:

Firstly, by creating employment opportunities and upskilling previously disadvantaged individuals with the philosophy of embracing race and gender diversity that is reflective of the demographics of South Africa. As such, we continually seek to kick-start employment careers in the professional services sector by providing opportunities to individuals through a partnership with the HCI Foundation and a learnership programme registered with FASSET and the Institute of Internal Auditors of South Africa (IIA SA).

Secondly, through our partnership with the HCI Foundation, GRIPP provides mentoring and contributes towards the HCI Foundation’s objectives as facilitators to enhance employment opportunities for its student bursary and funding programme.

Thirdly, we seek opportunities to contribute our services to non-profit organisations where they are relevant, valued, and where we can make a difference to their continued success.
